What The Tea Party Stands For
Thursday, April 15th, 2010
It’s really unfortunate that there are so many Americans whose political opinions are formed by listening to pundits. I’m speaking, of course, about the Tea Party movement.
The fact is that most of these people are either too stupid or to lazy to look closely at what it is they stand for. Let’s take a look at some national issues and what the Tea Party’s stand on each really means.
The Census
Many Teabaggers have refused to participate in the 2010 Census. Their contention is that the government does not have the authority to ask demographic related questions. They say that the constitution only grants the power to count the number of people in the country.
What these people don’t realize is that government services and voting districts are determined using census numbers. So by not participating, they are causing their communities to get less money and services from the government. Since congressional representatives are chosen based on the number of people, they are potentially robbing their state of representation in Congress.
Health Reform
The Teabaggers have made it clear that they’re perfectly happy with the health care system we have today. What they don’t realize is that health care premiums have increased at rates outpacing the cost of living and inflation. So apparently they are apparently content to have their premiums increase to the point where they won’t be able to pay them.
They say they want the “free market” to determine health care policy costs, yet the insurance companies have been exempted from anti-trust laws, which means that the free market is not in play here. The insurance companies can dictate terms, since they have been granted monopoly status. So apparently Teabaggers are happy with insurance company monopolies.
Global Warming
Teabaggers don’t agree with the overwhelming majority of scientists about the state of our planet. They are dead set against replacing our current petroleum-based energy system. What they don’t realize is that we are actually helping to fund terrorists.
Most of our oil imports come from Iran. Iran funds and trains terrorists. So, unwittingly, the Teabaggers are saying they are happy to help fund terrorists.

The tea baggers are for healthcare reform. The majority of Americans are..look at any poll. Just not this particular bill.
Do you really believe all this shit you write !
It would be silly to write stuff I don’t believe. If you have verifiable facts that prove me wrong, please educate me.
