The Conservative group “Keep America Safe”, which counts  Liz Cheney is one of the leaders, has published a video which should cause Americans to worry about the direction that the Neocons want the United States to take.

As you can plainly see, the implication made in the video is that because lawyers represented Guantanamo detainees, that they share the values of those detainees.  Of course, that’s not the way our legal system  works. Every defendant, either in military or civilian court, has the right to counsel.  That’s one of the basic rights that our country holds dear.

For a group of people whose primary objective is the preservation of the Constitution,  Neocons have shown quite a habit of turning a blind eye to our country’s most revered document when it doesn’t fit into their convoluted view of the United States.

The fact that they chose the nickname “Al Qaeda 7″ shows how low these assholes will go to further their agenda. These lawyers had nothing to do with Al Qaeda, and its disturbing that they would try to make this connection.

I’m ashamed that these people are Americans.  They are the scum of the earth.  They don’t really care about preserving the constitution.  They don’t care about constitutional rights.  They just care about the Republican Party.
