Congress is having hearings about health risks in Football. Huh? Don’t they have enough real work to do? Government should have nothing to do with sports, unless it involves legal matters.

Although I do believe that the government has certain obligations to Americans relating to their “general welfare”, this does not qualify, in my opinion.

People need to make their own decisions about the risks they are willing to take in their lives. Football players are well-compensated, and know exactly what they’re getting into when they sign a contract.

We don’t need the government getting involved in every aspect of our lives.
