Breaking News:  The New York Yankees have killed Muammar Ghadaffi.  Unhappy with being embarrased by the Detroit Tigers in the American League Playoffs,   Hank Steinbrenner sent his idle team to Libya in an attempt to divert attention from the World Series between the Texas Rangers and the St. Louis Cardinals.

Although Ghadaffi was captured alive,   Mariano Rivera, in his greatest finish ever, closed it out by firing the final shot directly into the dictator’s forehead.  He is pictured here with the trophy he was awarded as MVP of the Libyan revolution, a golden pistol formerly owned by Ghadaffi himself.  Rumors of Ghadaffi being buried in Monument Park next to Babe Ruth’s monument have not been confirmed.
